Saturday was a beautiful 80 degrees in Kansas City, I decided to not play blogger but mom instead. I’ve been blessed to attend events and as much as I love them. As a mom, I still feel a little guilty every time I leave my children. Most of the time, When I walk out of the house they say, “Bye Mom, See you later”. And I replied, “Bye, Baby love you!”.
Do they really miss me when I leave? I wonder? I know they are in good hands with my husband. But sometimes I think do I spend enough time with them? Am I investing and importing the right things into their lives. I want them to grow up and be God-fearing women. It’s a mom’s struggle and clearly I am still learning.
This past weekend, I wanted to dedicate it to my daughter’s. We had the pleasure to attend a local church’s Easter egg hunt and it was nothing shy of eventful.
M & K patiently awaiting the start of the Egg hunt.
The kids ran so fast to pick up as many eggs as they could. My two kiddos are right in the thick of things
K was very excited to talk a picture with the Easter Bunny.
M & K petting some of the animals at the mini petting section.
The volunteer swore the ducklings does not bite. However, I’ve never seen a duckling swing its head around like a snake. At this point, I was ready for the next activity.
M & K were petting all the chick-a-dees and ducklings. K was asked to put one of the chicks down, because she was squeezing it a little too tight. She loves hard, sorry.
M was all smiles with the Easter Bunny. We are still awaiting the arrival of the two front teeth, bare with us they are coming.
K asked the volunteer for a very specific face painting.
M wanted a face painting that was Easter themed.
M opted for the Easter bunny.
K told the volunteer she wanted a cloud that is raining on a pink flower. I think she nailed it.
The game was to throw so many eggs into the basket as you stand behind the line. I asked K to stand behind the line as a part of the rules. But the volunteer hushed me and told K to move in front of the line for easy throwing.
While M’s long limbs gave her the advantage.
K’s chick a dee was stylish in her purple bow and pink skirt.
I had to join in on the fun and make a bunny babe as well.
M has always been creative and made a chic that was simply cool.
It was a great day to play Mom and to spend time with my girls.
This looks like a blast! How fun and what a beautiful day to spend with your beautiful girls! Glad you had so much fun. I can’t believe it got so cold today after the 80 degree weather on Saturday. Oh, well. Hopefully the weekend will bring warmer weather back:) Hope you’re having a great day!
