I discovered Love with Food from one of my blogger friends, She bragged about receiving a box of special treats each month delivered straight to her door. Love with Food’s motto is “Discover great food for a great cause for only $12 a month ($10 + $2.00 shipping fee) For every box you purchase a meal is donated to a local cause. What a great cause!
So here is my January Box
First up Kyotofu Japanese desserts – The consistency is that of a short bread cookie. The taste was like a dry & tasteless short bread cookie.
Grade D
Biscotti by Di Suzy – This biscotti is made out of Almond & Anise. I am not a fan of biscotti’s.
Because they remind me of a hard cookie. The taste was not desirable.
Grade – D
GoGO Squeez – Apple Strawberry
Oh, How I love applesauce and strawberries! The taste was fresh and delicious.
Grade – A
Turbana Plantain Chips – The plantain chips are thinly sliced, lightly seasoned with salt, and delicious!
Grade – A
David Rio Tiger Spice Chai Tea- I have recently become a fan of “hot” tea. I found this to be the “best” tasting hot tea I have ever had *Excuse me, Sips Tea*
Grade A
Firecracker Choco Pods – This chocolate took me back to my childhood when I would eat pop rocks and dance with my girlfriends.
Although, my taste has grown with age, I found this sweet treat to be well worth it mixed with sea salt, smoky chipotle, popping candy and dark chocolate need I say more? – Go Get it!
Grade – A+
New Tree Chocolates – Speculoos (Dark Chocolate with Belgian biscuits and flax seeds) Cannelle (Organic Milk chocolate with cinnamon & lime blossom) Both chocolates are versatile in flavor. I appreciate the experience into flavor town. It’s just a stop, I care not to visit again.

Although they sold me on the concept of receive goodies – donate a meal. The need to continue my subscription is still to be determined. I will give them another month to prove themselves before I cut ties.
