I was so excited when I received a invite to the “soft opening” for FREEBIRDS in Westport. If you can, Please try them out today. Why? Because for only $5 you can receive a entree and a drink which helps support the Luekemia & Lymphoma Society. The public opening is scheduled for tomorrow, October 24th. FREEBIRDSKC plans to bring in their opening day with a bang! They plan to have free samples, a huge inflated burrito, and last but certainly not least they will give the first 25 people in line burritos for life!
I ordered what else? A burrito, I selected the cayenne burrito (Not too spicy, just a little kick) the carnita meat, with cilantro rice, source cream, fresh corn & tomato salsa, with cheese. It was really good! I also sampled the ques co dip and the fresh poblano pepper dip, both were very good. I will definitely order a side to go next time.
Review: I found the food at FREEBIRDS to be fresh and innovative. It’s nice to have several selections to choose from when ordering, That way you dont become bored with the same old menu. I would call FREEBIRDS, the “Subway of Mexi-Fresh Burritos”. The service was amazing! If you are unsure about what to order, they can assist in walking you through the menu to find what best suits your taste buds. The decor is very vibrant, energetic, and cool. I loved the sauce bar.
