It’s no secret that I am in love with the Goodwill. I shop at , I mean research the stores (shh, my husband reads my post’s too) every week. I was elated when I found out the Goodwill has an outlet. Yes, It does exist! A co-worker raved about the great finds she bought while shopping there. So, I was determined to check it out for myself.
My review:
The outlet store was huge. I only had about an half-hour to shop, while there I was on a mission to find home decor. I can throw an outfit together in less than five minutes, but decorating a house. Well, That’s a different story.
The store is sectioned off with large blue bins, inside of the bins you will find everything from clothing, decor, books and etc. You have to wait until all the bins are rolled out and then you are allowed to stand next to the bin, before you can snatch that item of your dreams. I found the rules to be like a game of red light/green light. Meanwhile, I was thanking God for Cole Haan heels with Nike air.
I won, I won! I got the item that I desperately wanted. So what was that item? Well, Come on…. Items?

For less than five dollars, I am looking forward to seeing what I can do with my finds. Below is my inspiration, I received via Instagram from one of my favorite people to follow (Dwell by Cheryl). I am hoping to re-create this idea for the holidays.
The Goodwill Outlet is located at 1800 N. Corrington Kansas City, MO 64120. Store Hours: Mon – Sat: 9 am to 9pm Sun: 11am to 6pm.
