What would you do if “fear” was not an option? Can you imagine what you would accomplish? Fear is the prelude to failure. Fear is the voice that whispers to “you cant”. For the reason or another we all surrender to that voice at some point in our lives.
Fear is scary, unstable, and crippling. My biggest fear, was the fear of the unknown. What’s going to happen if I choose path “A” instead of path “B”? What is this or that person going to do? I was so crippled by fear that I did not try. I was complacent in the unknown.
One day, I decided to just try. Who cares if someone says “No!” No doesn’t hurt. It’s going to be okay. No doesn’t mean No forever. No means try a little harder, study a little more, pray and prepare. Because, when that “yes” comes. You want to be prepared to receive it.
What will you tell fear today?
Stay tuned… On tomorrow’s post, I’ll share my experience at Bacon Fest.
FEAR: False…Evidence…Appearing…Real. Love this post. I’ve definitely experienced some of the same especially with the start of my blog. Im doing it ANYWAY!!! Fashion is my passion and thrifiting is my favorite past time!
Thank you! It’s comforting knowing that I’m not the only one whose experienced this. I love thrifting as well. I knew we would get along.
Cynthia,
Isn’t it a blessing to have great men in our lives?
