I attended the Go Blog Social conference this past weekend. It was my first blog conference and I cant wait to share my experience with you tomorrow (so stay tuned). But for today’s Motivation Monday, I wanted to share two words that were shared at the conference from Jessica of How Sweet It Is blog.
These two easy words are so easy to forget in the world of blogging and in life. It is so easy to lose your identity when you look at others. I remember hearing a story about a runner who was in the lead until he looked back to see where his competition was. When you look back, or just see what others are doing you immediately slow down.
I’ll leave with a great word I from Bishop Jakes I heard yesterday.
- Don’t allow your sensitivities to effect your opportunities.
- It’s amazing the things you can get done, when you stop being petty.
- Dont allow someone’s opinion to define you.
- Delay’s are prep time. Preparation is never time wasted see it as an opportunity.
