Kansas City Fashion Week continued long into the weekend. I attended the show on Saturday. While staying with my contemporary classic style, I wore a sleeveless black dress that I scored while thrifting for only $6.00 (dress retails for $99). I paired the dress with flats as my feet were still recovering from Friday night. I decided to braid my hair the night before which contributed to my overall vintage took look.
Again, Instead of covering every single line in the show. I decided to only over my favorites from the shows.
WM Couture
WM Couture’s line is my signature style – Classic, yet contemporary. This dress was simple and chic, yet the back of the gown with plaid multi-layered detail gave it much intrigue,
Lauren Benders
Lauren Benders line was stylish, modern, and modestly seductive.
L.O.D. Designs
L.O.D. Designs was by far the best line seen at the show. I was excited to meet the designer behind the brand: Elodie Auvray. The young designer is not only beautiful in spirit but in person as well. The designs were well executed with a sexy masculine feel and yet a feminine touch. I had every intention to post live pictures of some of the designs. And yet, every piece that graced the catwalk I was absolutely captivated by.
