Can you believe 2013 is almost over? As the year comes to an end. I began to think of ways to receive tax write off’s and cleaning out my closet is one of the easiest ways. I am sure we all have items around the house we would love to get rid of.
I have began to clean up my messy disorganized closet. Which I admit currently looks a little something like the picture above. With that being said, We can all play a part in helping others. When you donate your clothing or household items to places like The Goodwill or Salvation Army, you are helping others find work or helping families in need.
It’s a great way to give back and it’s also a great time to find new items to “add” to your closet or house after the New Year. As you know I am a huge supporter of thrifting. I personally believe right after the New Year is a great time to shop. Why? Because people are donating items for those year-end tax write-offs.
So hurry!! Be sure to go home today and clean out those closets or give some items that you are no longer using. Being charitable is always in style!
