Nailed It – Chevron Look

I have started experimenting with nail polish again. Usually, I am one to gravitate towards a simple french tip or standard manicure. But, Lately I have starting going outside of my comfort zone and trying color. Last week, I painted my nails Germanicure by OPI.

Now I am a fan of dark polishes. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that I would wear a dark gray or burgundy nail polish.  How can I kick it up a notch? I came across a video on Birchbox’s blog describing how you can get the perfect “Chevron” nail. (NOTE: Click on the word <<<Chevron for the video)

Here are all the tools you need

  1. Scrapbooking scissors
  2. Scotch tap
  3. 2 nail polishes
  4. Top Coat polish

Here are the results
